Elisha’s Summit Concentration
2 Kings 2:9~10│ When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you, before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let there be a double portion of your spirit on me.” And he said, “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.”
People in this age live by focusing or obsessing on issues or matters that greatly pique their interests. But as a Remnant, you must place limits on what you concentrate on and focus solely on what God truly desires. In doing so, through prayer that communicates with the throne, you’ll receive answers that connect with the 237 nations of the world. For you, who’ll receive these answers, God has given you the covenantal Word that transcends time and space. Then, what are the answers that can block any attacks from Satan?
1.God’s New Plan and Hidden Disciples
Elijah, who was tired of the constant spiritual war, received
the Word on the mountain of God. Elijah had received a new plan from God that was different from what he had originally thought. That new plan included 7,000 hidden disciples, finding and raising Elisha, and anointing a king over Israel. And the springboard for this answer was prepared by Obadiah. Those who know the future can take what is true and abandon Gilgal, Bethel, and Jericho. By doing so, the answer of the Summit will undoubtedly come.
2.The Answer of the Summit and Obadiah’s God
Elisha quickly relinquished what had to be thrown away,
grabbed hold of God's new plan, and became the Spiritual Summit. In Dothan, God defended and protected him through the armies of Heaven. Those were the rightful answers that came to Elisha because he held onto the correct covenant in order to save the future. Although the mighty Aramean army surrounded the city, Elisha did not fight. Instead, he gained the answer of winning without fighting by utilizing spiritual power. As you can clearly see, Obadiah's devotion was directly linked to the 7,000 hidden disciples and the Dothan movement.
Obadiah's devotion not only completed the age of Elijah, but gave rise to Elisha, who wanted a double portion of Elijah’s spirit, and the Dothan movement. Your devotion will also produce the same outcome.
