Water That Came out from the Rock
Numbers 20:1~9 │ “Take the staff, and assemble the congregation,
you and Aaron your brother, and tell the rock before their eyes to yield its
water. So you shall bring water out of the rock for them and give drink to the congregation and their cattle.” (8)
Even though you’re saved and are a child of God, there are probably times when you forget your status and authority and live as if you haven’t even met Him. How can you return to your original form as a child of God?
1.When You Meditate on the Word
Only the Word of God can revive your soul. That’s why you must receive God’s Word through the Sunday pulpit message. Afterward, by meditating on it in your daily life, God’s Word will flow into my soul, heart, and mind. For those reasons, it’s imperative to set apart time each day to do so, as well as meditating in your free time to remind yourself of the Word throughout the day. Just like the water that came out of the rock, God’s Word must flow into your soul. Only then will the roots of your soul be revived and restored.
2.When You Remain in the Joy of Prayer
When you look to God who constantly loves His children and possesses infinite power, you’ll gain spiritual strength. For those who find true joy in their time of prayer, they won’t waver or break down despite overwhelming circumstances or hardships because they can personalize and enjoy God’s infinite power.
For those who experience the power of meditation regarding the Word and enjoy the joy of prayer, they’ll rejoice in answers prepared by God. In doing so, they’ll be able to give answers to those who don’t know the Gospel and are suffering from emotional and mental afflictions. Ultimately, by utilizing the Gospel, they’ll also save future generations.
