Evangelists who have power
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (8)

Until now, sermons have been the focus of the churches throughout the world, with people saying things such as, “The sermon was good,” “The sermon was bad,” or “I received grace from today’s sermon,” “I didn’t receive grace from today’s sermon.” That is why people are blinded to the works that arise from the Word of God. Of course listening to sermons is important, but it is necessary that we put them into action in our lives and change our direction to be focused more on the application and actualization of these messages. And we must have the realistic experience of healing through the Word of God. Healing is being healed of spiritual diseases, but it is more important that we change our lifestyle when it comes to healing. Then how can we experience the power of God’s Word being brought to fulfillment?
1. We must have the fundamental power of the Gospel to overcome three things.
As we live the life of the evangelist, if we do not enjoy the spiritual power through God’s Word, we will have received God’s Word but our actions will be led by our thoughts. This is the humanism by which we are most easily deceived. In addition, some emphasize grace and experience and move toward unhealthy mysticism. We must remember that the New Age movement and other religious organizations that are gaining popularity at a fast rate emphasize experiences only and have the tendency toward unhealthy mysticism. Moreover, there are cases where people are bound by the law, believing that they can receive salvation only by observing the law and follow after legalism. We must have the power of the Gospel to surpass these things.
2. We must have the power to overcome the hidden diseases
The fundamental reason why we must start living the life of the evangelist is that all people have hidden diseases. Incapability, powerlessness and spiritual problems are something that cannot be diagnosed by doctors. Many people, when faced with problems, begin worrying first and sink down on the floor without knowing what to do. Things don’t work out for them because they hastily make decisions and judgments with their limited thoughts. In this way, as they make more problems for themselves, they fall into spiritual problems and suffer.
3. We must have the power to save them
If we lack the power to save them, we can do nothing. In order to save ourselves, we need to reach the conclusion in today’s Word, prayer and evangelism and begin the day. If we save ourselves, we will save our surroundings. If we receive answers, God’s kingdom will come upon our field and our surroundings will be revived. The life of the evangelist, through which we save others by the 24 hour filling of the Holy Spirit, is the greatest joy of God and the best answer to save many.
