Unusual spiritual experiences

At present, a number of religious organizations, groups that promote unhealthy mysticism, New Age movement, and Free Masons are exerting great influence. The characteristic trait of these organizations is that people go through very unusual spiritual experiences. Churches in Korea and the world are declining in number, while people flock to such organizations. Especially, important elites and high level officials are starting to throng to such organizations. We must save and help them with the Gospel. What must we do?
1. Unusual spiritual experience
Programs and organizations that promote health through exercises such as zen and meditation and let people have unusual spiritual experiences are gaining popularity and spreading out, and elites, celebrities, athletes, and high level officials are all being influenced. At first, they introduce them to renowned individuals or specialists and let them go through cultural experiences and spiritual experiences. Upon having such unusual spiritual experiences, they feel as though they have gained some sort of power and thus fall more deeply without being able to come out. However, they are completely unaware of the spiritual problems and the works of the evil spirits that follow after such unusual spiritual experiences. That is why they suffer from spiritual problems such as visual or auditory hallucinations and mental problems such as depression and physical problems such as insomnia.
2. Experience the Holy Spirit
We are the evangelists who will help and save those who are facing difficulties and solve the problems of the world. Evangelists who will save them must have the experience of the Holy Spirit that surpasses the spiritual experiences of such organizations. How can we do it? We must experience the Holy Spirit. We must grab hold of the Word according to the Bible and concentrate and pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:42). The Early Church and Paul’s evangelism team prayed the concentrated prayer to be guided in important matters; likewise we, too, must begin to pray the concentrated prayer for the filling of the Holy Spirit in front of God. Then, we will see the works of God. Speaking in tongues or having a spiritual gift is only a result that follows, not the standard of receiving the filling of the Holy Spirit. Because we are evangelists, we must experience the Holy Spirit with faith in the most Biblical and normal manner. If we are not receiving this answer as evangelists, we will lose precious souls to the works of the evil spirit that inundate the world. However, we must pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit because no one can stop the working of the Holy Spirit.
- Grab hold of God’s promise and pray with concentration by faith in order to gain the power to save the world and receive the filling of the Holy Spirit.
