The evangelist’s strength
Acts 19:8~21 After all this had happened, Paul decided to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. “After I have been there,” he said, “I must visit Rome also.” (21)

While living the life of an evangelist, if works arise in your studies, tasks and businesses, this is the evangelist’s strength and answer. The representative figures of this are David, the doctor Luke who recorded the book of Acts, and Gaius who was the host of the Early Church. We simply thought they were a great king, skilled doctor and powerful businessman, respectively, but they were also evangelists. If we also hold to the Word, prayer and evangelism within the Gospel, works will absolutely arise.
1. When you are alone
Joseph held on to God’s Word and prayed in the midst of great hardships and loneliness. Moses saw the covenant of 80 years being fulfilled. From the time Samuel grasped God’s Word, nothing he said fell to the ground. David held fast to the Word that he will be king, and prayed alone, night and day. When you are alone, if you can enjoy happiness through prayer with the conviction of a child of God, the conviction of prayer answers, and the conviction of victory amidst trials, you are a person of answers, without a doubt.
2. When we are together
One who enjoys the joy of prayer alone can experience different works with others. If you apply all works and events that take place with others with the life of an evangelist, you can follow the answers that arise and God’s kingdom will be established. If there is a problem at church, we must hold firmly to the Word God gives us today. Before entering the field, if we pray for the manifestation of God’s kingdom as we prepare our meetings and works, the problems of the field will be resolved. Henceforth, God’s blessings will be upon your finances, and you will see the special promise between God and you. This is the power that evangelists enjoy together.
3. The master plan of the future
It is very crucial to draw a realistic master plan looking to our futures. We must grasp prayer topics regarding our entire lives and based on the personal grace God gives us, we must create lifetime plans. In particular, the Remnants must prepare to be used as lay leaders in the near future. A vision is what I will be like in the future. Remnants must be capable of enjoying their future selves in the present.
- We are not people who strive for success; we are people of God who will gain success simply by living the life of the evangelist. How am I spending my days? Pray to experience the evangelist’s strength.
