God’s administration
Ephesians 3:1~13 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. (8~9)
Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #540 I am Thine, O Lord (#219 in previous version)
God undoubtedly continues to work through His Word. He has given us the name of Jesus Christ, allowing us to pray and receive answers in His name. When we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit works. How should we pray and receive answers in order to continue with the evangelism movement?
1. When God’s purpose is fulfilled
When you interpret the meaning of ‘administration’ in English, the word ‘purpose’ is used. Purpose is the word people use, but when used to explain God’s work, administration is used. When God’s administration takes place in the things that I do, the works will take place. Although it appeared as though Joseph was made a prisoner and taken as a slave, through God’s administration, he saved Egypt. For 250 years, Christians were persecuted but God did not respond. But after 250 years had passed, Rome became a Christian empire. The evangelist Paul testified that God’s will was for him to be in prison and to proclaim the mystery of God’s administration. You can see God’s administration at work in those who should receive answers. When you hold on to this covenant, God sends His heavenly armies and the Holy Spirit works.
2.When you enjoy the Gospel
When you enjoy the Gospel, God’s works arise. When you enjoy the basic Gospel found in Genesis 3:15 referring to the Offspring of woman, God’s kingdom will come upon you. The moment you hold on to this covenant, God sends His angels and the works that people cannot block take place. During slavery, God worked in the same way upon those who held on to the sacrifice of Exodus 3:18, namely, Moses, Joshua, and Caleb. (Today when we hold on to these works, all problems will be solved.) During colonization, Isaiah the prophet held on to the covenant of Immanuel found in Isaiah 7:14 and works arose.
3.When you enjoy evangelism
When you enjoy evangelism, God will answer you right away. When you go into the field, you will see how the Holy Spirit has worked. The Word has already been fulfilled in the field. Furthermore, through Christ’s name, the doors of evangelism will open. God sends His angels ahead of us, so His kingdom has already come. When you simply go out into the field, the forces of darkness are bound.
- Do you worry about how to evangelize to dying souls? If you enter into God’s administration, you will begin to receive true answers in today’s time schedule.
