The life of an evangelist that Abraham enjoyed
Genesis 12:1~9 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

There is a need for concentrated healing at least once as we live our Christian walks. We are absolutely living by the grace of God. Now, all there is left is simply to conscientiously live the lives of evangelists. When each individual discovers God’s plan for them within the life of an evangelist, the evangelism movement will arise. The life of an evangelist is nothing new. Even Abraham enjoyed such answers in the Old Testament. How did Abraham begin to live the life of an evangelist?
1. A time without answers
Despite the fact that Abraham lived holding on to the Word, Chaldea of Ur was a corrupt region mired within the abyss of idolatry. As Abraham faced the problem of his father’s death and his older brother dying before him, he made a decisive choice in his Christian walk. There are times when we may make a hasty decision in the same manner when we face problems. He left Chaldea of Ur following the Word, but he faced subsequent crises of famine and the possible loss of his wife. Additionally, disputes took place within his household because of his nephew Lot, whom he had brought with him.
2. Abraham’s beginning
Abraham, who was previously mired in problems, began his life anew. Not everything changed overnight, but as he raised an altar, he returned to the Word of the covenant which God had given to him from the moment He first called him. God interfered with Abraham’s humanism, problems, and conflicts. Abraham, who had entered within the Word, realized things of grave importance. God promised to give him a son, and subsequently allowed for the birth of Isaac as an answer. Abraham, who was now completely within the Word, obeyed the Word, even when God told him to sacrifice his only son. It was at this time that he was able to receive the blessing of being the source of blessings through whom all people of all nations would be blessed.
3. God’s method toward
Abraham God asked, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?” in Genesis 18:17. God absolutely gives us His Word before He fulfills them. And God who gives us the Word will without question fulfill it. Abraham simply left Chaldea of Ur. However, God fulfills His plans perfectly through us. Ultimately, we must come to a resolution, discover today’s Word, meditate upon it, discover today’s prayer within it, and enjoy the blessing of today’s evangelism. Abraham restored this, and this is the life of the evangelist that we must restore.
- The life of an evangelist is not something special. We need simply to come to a resolution at this time, and hold on to God’s Word for us. What is the Word God is giving to you today?
