Standing alone
Isaiah 6:11~13 And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land (13)

‘We must be able to grab hold of God’s Word and have victory when we are alone, wherever we are.’ Many teachers and spiritual leaders can help us. However, our next generation, the Remnants, must rise to their feet by themselves. It is because one day there will come a time and field where no one can help them. The Gospel is power. If we gain power in the Gospel, we can stand on our own. There are a few important things to stand alone.
1. Standing on our own
First is standing on our own. The 7 Remnants all had success in standing on their own, which has some attributes. If we can enjoy the Gospel through prayer on our own, we will have success in standing on our own. We can stand on our own without prayer, but things will get that much more difficult. That is why we can absolutely have success in standing on our own if we can enjoy the Gospel through prayer on our own. Joseph enjoyed the blessing of prayer as he enjoyed the Gospel of being with God even when he was a slave at Potiphar’s house. Even when he was falsely accused and went to prison, he did not blame others but enjoyed God being with him and had success in standing on his own as he helped people out in prison.
2. Standing together
It is at such time that standing together becomes possible. Standing together means that evangelism takes place. It is becoming witnesses regarding this. Joseph who enjoyed the Gospel through prayer used to be a criminal held in prison but came to be seated in the position of the governor of the superpower nation of Egypt by interpreting the Pharaoh’s dream. When his brothers came because of famine, Joseph did not accuse them of their wrongdoing but explained God’s plan to them and forgave them instead. Having had success in standing alone, Joseph was able to stand together with his brothers who had sold him into slavery.
3. Standing in the future
And the Remnants do not just stand together. Far more Remnants than we can imagine and many believers cannot withstand even small things. They fall into trials because of small interpersonal relationships at church. More people than we can imagine are seeing only what is ahead and are blind to what is behind. Therefore, we look with faith to the future that is to come and stand in the future. Then we will become the main figures who save the age.
- No one and nothing but the Gospel can keep us safe for our entire lives. Therefore, we must be able to stand alone in the Gospel. Try to have success in standing alone through the time of prayer of enjoying the Gospel before everything else.
