Today, 70-80% of churches are dependent churches. In each church, Remnants and especially young adults must stand up and assume the role of saving the church. If that is the case, what must we do first to allow the Remnants to become leaders who will save the church?
1. Realistically possess the power of the Gospel
If we have the Gospel, we must realistically enjoy it in our lives. Christ bound the forces of Satan that we were not able to bind, and He is the one who solved the problem of original sin, and the background of darkness. How can we enjoy the Gospel in our lives? First, through the Word we must enjoy the Gospel. We must particularly take the pulpit message and experience the tremendous power of the Gospel. One of the main reasons church members have difficulties is because they are not able to do this. Second, through prayer, you must enjoy the Gospel. Most people are afraid and shake in front of large problems. When you enjoy the Gospel through prayer, you are able to rise above your present problems and the culture. Third, you must enjoy the Gospel through evangelism. From now on, we need to enjoy the Gospel through the Word, prayer, and evangelism and all our problems will be solved.
2. How to make the Gospel become the Gospel
The first thing we must do is let the Gospel change us. When we meet an important person, we must also change them through the Gospel. After this, we must change the field. When a worker who has been changed by the Gospel arises, he will become a church leader, and when he becomes the pastor’s right hand, he is able to save the church. So, it is important to take the lead in helping with the pastor’s work. We must have everything including our problems, persecution, even our answers, be changed by the Gospel. This includes our personality and our family background. Tremendous works of God will take place from this point.
3. Discovering the completeness of the Gospel
Because the Gospel is complete, we must little by little discover this fact. First, you must understand the connection within the Gospel between your problems and situations and yourself. Second, you must concretely discover evangelism in your life. It is good to do an assessment of your field and plan an evangelism strategy. Then you will be able to see the completeness of the Gospel and know the uniqueness of the blessing you have. You’ll be able to address the things in your church that are the most difficult to deal with, and you must let the Gospel affect the parts of your life that you struggle with the most.
- What are the areas of my life that the Gospel has impacted the least? Am I realistically experiencing the Gospel’s power?
