What is the Gospel? The Gospel is something that you cannot do without. The Gospel completely sets you free from curses and the background of hell, sin and the problem of original sin and Satan who tries to destroy your life completely. Because the forces of darkness are constantly at work, you must always enjoy the Gospel. That is why you must have the blessing and mystery of the tabernacle as your focus. This is the reason why the story of the tabernacle is in the Bible. What is the blessing of the tabernacle?
1. The sanctuary and the Holy of Holies
Inside the tabernacle was the sanctuary and inside the sanctuary was the Holy of Holies. The Holy of Holies was separated and contained the Ark of the Covenant which had inside the tablets inscribed with the Ten Commandments, a golden pot of manna, and Aarons’ staff that had budded. These were items that demonstrated God’s guidance and protection. Wherever the Ark of the Covenant went, the Jordan Sea separated and the walls of Jericho fell. Regardless of what you do, there are disasters, curses, and problems that you cannot block by using science, philosophy, or human efforts. That is the reason why God has given us the Gospel. Inside the sanctuary, there is the Bread of Presence that symbolizes the bread of life, and the light and incense that symbolized a Christian’s prayer and the working of the Holy Spirit. The most important thing is to ingest the living bread and make sure the light of prayer does not go out. In order for us to know this, God gave us the tabernacle and the sanctuary.
2. The knowledge and skill required to make the tabernacle
There is a word that appears frequently in the Scripture. It is the idea of “making connections.”We must have the knowledge and skills required to unify many things into one in order to connect them. In order to do this, we must have the power to change ourselves, change our fields, and change the world. When we accept Christ as our master, He can change me. Through the life of an evangelist, you can change the field, and through the culture, change the world. The key to world evangelization is the Gospel, and the method is culture. Another thing to remember is that you are walking in the wilderness right now. Joseph as a slave, Moses as an adoptee, Samuel as a priest, David as a shepherd – all of them discovered their calling and answers in their respective situations. That is why we must make today a blessing. Tomorrow is yet to come, yesterday has past, so we must gain the strength that God gives us today. The life of an evangelist who enjoys the Word, prayer, and evangelism possesses the greatest blessing. It is about gaining the strength to change the culture that I am a part of and the culture that I am not a part of. God’s method for this age is the evangelism movement that works through the culture.
-May you grant me the blessing of evangelism and missions through the restoration of the culture of the Gospel.
