Preparation for the future
Psalms 78:70~72 He chose David his servant and took him from the sheep pens; from tending the sheep he brought him to be the shepherd of his people Jacob, of Israel his inheritance. And David shepherded them with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led them. (70~72)

The work of God appeared whenever the lay leader movement that saves the region and church and Remnant movement that saves the future generations arose. If we prepare in detail for the future and for the work of God and world evangelization that will come by deeply enjoying the Gospel, we will receive representative and monumental answers. If you serve the church to the extent to which the pastor thinks of you as his right hand, the church will gain strength and be revived. We must arise now and serve the church and lay leaders so that they may gain strength.
1. Joseph and Moses
Look at Joseph and Moses. They prepared for the age of the lay leaders since they were young. Joseph learned economics and politics through the problem of slavery and prison, and Moses received his education at the royal palace at a young age. It is more important to see beforehand and prepare with prayer than to receive many answers. Because Joseph and Moses knew the sure future even though they faced problems, they were not shaken and could walk their path.
2. Samuel and David
Samuel learned and realized at a young age through his mother that he was a Nazirite and how he should carry out that commission. From then on, all of the words of Samuel that were proclaimed through him were fulfilled. David put the words, “You will be the king in the future” in his heart, overcame circumstances and problems, and prepared for the future. He was already sure and prepared to be king, so he was not discouraged even when he faced hardship.
3. Paul and Timothy
Paul said to Timothy, “I know your tears,” (2 Timothy 1:1~5). This means that they could connect well. Although Timothy was young, Paul called Timothy an evangelist and requested him to do the duty of an evangelist. Timothy who was relayed an important commission and the Word held on to a sure vision in the midst of peace and prepared for the future. Even in the midst of complicated conflicts of the church and the world, he simply and boldly witnessed the Word. It is important to have a conclusion about the future beforehand and prepare like Timothy.
- Remnants must arise so that the church can receive strength and pastors can focus on evangelism, missions, and prayer. Meditate on your conclusion concerning the future and make prayer topics about what you must prepare.
