The faith of the evangelist
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

God has prepared all things centered on the evangelist and evangelism. All incidents and environments, and even our background, was given to us for the sake of evangelism. However, even though we have received the covenantal blessing, we discover aspects of ourselves that do not take place well. In order to overcome these weaknesses and shortcomings, faith has been given to us as a gift. That is why even though we face problems, unbelief changes into faith, and when we choose faith, God gives us the greatest blessing. We must start our today holding tightly on to this covenant with the faith of the evangelist.
1. Priest-like faith
No matter how much humankind puts effort forth, they cannot be set free from sin and curses. However, as Jesus Christ died upon the cross, He completely solved our problem of sins and curses as a one-time sacrifice offering. Not only that, He called us as the royal priesthood. We must grab hold of this blessing with faith and enjoy it through prayer. The heroes of faith of Hebrews 11 are the witnesses of this work. In addition, the Early Church and Paul won against disasters through 24-hour prayer in the midst of persecutions and crises and transformed the field. This is the faith we ourselves must immediately restore and enjoy today.
2. King-like faith
Satan, unseen to our eyes, is alive and well even now and attacking us. Unseen to our eyes, he breaks apart families and plows into and attacks the culture of the world and politics. Winning against this is what we call ‘king-like faith.’ With this faith, we must begin scheduled prayer that enjoys our authority. In addition, if we discard our unbelief and start scheduled prayer regarding evangelism, the forces of Satan and authorities of darkness will be bound in every place we go to. Although Daniel was trapped in the den of lions, he did not die, and this was the reason he exerted influence upon the nation. We must absolutely grab hold of and enjoy this blessing as faith.
3. Prophet-like faith
There is no way to meet God by the effort of humankind. Only Jesus Christ opened the way to meet God as the true prophet. With this blessing and faith, we must enter into deep prayer. We call this the filling of the Holy Spirit. When the evangelist, Paul, faced hardship and storms and was placed in a situation of crisis, he did not worry and, instead, entered into deep prayer. In addition, he saw the tremendous works of the filling of the Holy Spirit. If you have a time of prayer in which you deeply pray at least once a day, you can taste the power of God.
- Evaluate your faith today. If you have true faith, you will receive true answers. So, evaluate your faith, and start again with correct faith.
