The application of the evangelist
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (8)

God has called us as evangelists. Rather than focusing on the help that an evangelist can provide, the concrete life of an evangelist is more important. However, most Christians are not able to live the life of an evangelist and are not receiving answers. The reason is because people do not realistically believe God’s Word. The characteristic of someone who has a strong Christian life is that they realistically believe in God’s Word. They believe the greatest answer of Christ and that God is with them through the Holy Spirit. Holding on to this covenant, we must put into practice being an evangelist.
1. Healing at the source
The first thing to put into practice is healing at the source. While this is ongoing, healing regarding prayer must take place first. Generally, as we live our Christian walk, we do not receive answers to prayer because prayer does not work. The more we cannot pray, the more we must meditate on God. If continuous prayer becomes a joyful part of our lives, we can enjoy great strength. Then healing within evangelism can take place. We will be able to see our physical and spiritual conditions and we will find answers within this realization. Lastly, we must have healing of the Word. If you can make the connection between the Word and your life, you will understand why God has given you today’s Word.
2. The content of being an evangelist
If healing at the source takes place, you will realize the true content of the works and answers that took place in the Early Church. If you come to the conclusion of Jesus Christ (Acts 1:1), God’s kingdom (Acts 1:3), the filling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), you will see the process of world evangelization. The Early Church held on to the covenant, the works of evangelism that saved the field, and the mystery of uniqueness to save the age. At that point, God allowed people to discover their personal contract, and nicknames like guardian, co-worker, and host in Romans 16 were given to them. This is the core message we must know as evangelists.
3. The method for evangelists
There is a particular method for evangelists. They must do what is necessary first. As someone who has been called as a child of God, it is necessary to connect the field to evangelism, including your schedule and the people around you. You must be able to see the needs of the region as well as connect evangelism to your field and to the people you meet. Then you will begin to see the age including the future and your future generations.
- What is God’s Word that I must realistically hold on to today? What must I do today? Although they may appear to be small actions, try to live the life of an evangelist and enjoy the blessings that follow.
