Who is the evangelist’s guardian?
Romans 16:1~2 “I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been a great help to many people, including me.” (2)

Generally, believers have difficulty praying. The fact that prayer is not working means that your spiritual state is desolate and you have no ability to focus. The best way to heal this problem with prayer is meditation. Second is the fact that people do not understand evangelism. If you look at your life with spiritual eyes when problems and answers arise, you will be able to realize the blessing of evangelism. Third, we do not have the fulfillment of the message. If we realize that we are people with the greatest blessing but who live with no concern for evangelism, we will correctly understand God’s Word. Then we will understand the characteristic of the worker in Romans 16.
1. The witness who has evidence
The workers in Romans 16 were all witnesses. A witness is someone who knows, who has seen and who possesses. The person who knows the Gospel and has seen the works of the Gospel is a witness. Many people say they can do it or that they simply cannot do anything. However, if you are honest with yourself and before God, you will know that you need the Gospel. It is from this point that God will answer and give you evidence. When you hold on to this evidence, you become a witness.
2. The witness who shines the light
Because the workers in Romans 16 had evidence wherever they went, they could confidently share the Gospel. Wherever the person with evidence goes, the light of creation shines and chases away the darkness. If you just look towards this light, the forces of darkness will flee. God called us to shine this light. This light is Jesus Christ. The light of Christ is the light that is victorious over darkness and Satan.
3.The witness with a personal contract
From this point on, there will be promises that occur between God and us that we did not realize. This personal contract is something personal to us and is a unique blessing. If you discover the blessing of uniqueness, you will see God’s special plan and schedule for you. The deaconess Phoebe that appears in the passage was given the nickname of guardian, which was God’s personal contract for her. The people in Romans 16 all had this personal contract.
- There is nothing impossible in Christ. No matter what my situation, all I need to do is start by holding on to evangelism, the Word and prayer. What is the personal contract that God has for me through which I will stake my life on world evangelization?
