The Word and healing
Acts 20:7~12 “Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead.” (9) ♬

There are surprisingly many people who live their Christian lives without the Word or prayer. In reality, many people experience great difficulties because prayer is not working for them. The reason is that their spiritual state is greatly desolate. Their focus on prayer goes away and spiritual problems continue to grow. How can we heal this area? The best method is through meditation. If meditation on the Word and prayer are to occur normally, you must be able to see your problems realistically. If you can find a solution to your problem, you are receiving an answer for this age. To start, there are three things to resolve.
1. Unbelief that you must discard
People generally are bound by unbelief which prevents them from believing in God. We cannot control our fortune and misfortune, or even our very life or death. The fact that we cannot control our lives means that we are not masters over them. God is the master of our lives. Our lives are within God’s sovereignty. If within this condition, we have personal time to ourselves, examine ourselves, and organize our lives, prayer will cease to be difficult. If we begin to restore the basic things in our lives, healing will easily take place. If we don’t heal the basics, the healing that occurs will lead us to the wrong result.
2. Value that must be restored
Through our lives of faith, there is something of great value that we must discover. First is the value of the Gospel. In the Gospel, God reigns over our life, death, fortune, and misfortune and leads us. We must discover this blessing. Second is the value of life. We must discover the talent and value that God has given us as our creator. Third, we must discover the blessing of being with other people. From this point, we can restore the true value of our lives.
3. Powerlessness that must be healed
Although it is important to gain strength on our own, there is also strength that we cannot gain on our own. The important thing is to remember that we cannot make it in life with only human strength. The reason for listening to God’s Word and praying is so that we can gain God’s strength. It is during this time that we can experience deep healing. When we receive God’s strength, our shortcomings are healed, and we can stand as people with the answer to save the world.
- The best way to heal my unbelief and powerlessness is to hold on to today’s Word.
