The people who moved the world
Romans 16:21 Timothy, my fellow worker, sends his greetings to you, as do Lucius, Jason and Sosipater, my relatives.
♬ Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #411 There’s a Peace in My Heart (#473 in previous version)
Even though it may appear as though our lives are not worth anything, the moment we have become children of God, we have also become people who are precious and honored. The moment we receive salvation, our value becomes incalculable. If the Holy Spirit is with us, He opens the door of heaven wherever we go. God mobilizes His angels before us, and the forces of darkness flee. In addition, as we live upon this earth, we are able to enjoy the blessing of the throne of heaven. Conversely, those who have not received salvation fall into their fate, run errands for the devil, make idols with their hands only to bow before them, and face mental and physical problems and afflictions. The problems of the parents are passed down exactly to their children, and after death, hell awaits. Coming out from within this problem is salvation. Starting now, we must hold on to the covenant as our blessing. In order to do this, what must we do?
1. We must open our eyes to see the problem
If Joseph saw Egypt and slavery as a problem, he would have failed to see the essence of his situation. God sent Joseph to Egypt in order to save that nation. When we perceive problems, we mustn’t just see the outer appearance; we must see the facts. If we are able to see the problems that come before the children of God accurately, we will discover that everything is a door of evangelism. As we look at the facts, we must open our eyes to evangelism. At that time, we will gain great strength as a result of our problems.
2. We must hold on to the Word of God
The core content of the 66 books of the Bible is to save the people who are lost inside of their fate. We will come to discover that amazing spiritual authority is given to the children of God. We must live our lives with this blessing.
3. We must gain the strength of prayer
If we are faced with an illness, it is an opportunity for us to experience the power of God. If we are faced with poverty, it is our time schedule to begin from rock bottom. How must we pray? We just need to pray at the most convenient time of our day for a short amount of time. This is what we call scheduled prayer. We can pray quietly to ourselves at school, at work, or wherever we are. This is continuous prayer. At times when we face a great problem or hardship, we must realize that God has a plan and enter into deep prayer. This is the blessing that God has given to us.
- Those who moved the world are all people who realized the value that they have. I am precious and honored in God’s sight. We must enjoy the best answer that God has prepared for us today.
