The new Word
Exodus 34:10~17 Then the Lord said: "I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.” (10) ♬

Why do people commit suicide? Why do serious crimes continue? The Bible reveals a being by the name of Satan. If the people of God correctly realize the Gospel and the spiritual reality, God solves our problems. Our battle is a battle against an evil spirit that tries to topple over and destroy mankind till the end. Only the Gospel is the unique way to win this spiritual battle. Our battle is not against flesh and blood.
1. Grab hold of the new Word and challenge.
God poured down His great and mysterious works for the sake of the Israelites, and the promise God established was that He would make the nations that saw this fact return back to face the Gospel. Satan hates the people of God realizing and grabbing hold of this covenant the most. That is why, if we just grab hold of the Word, the forces of Satan crumble. God makes the Israelites, who fell into fear in front of Canaan, once again, firmly grab onto the covenant. Taking over that land was a rightful work, and rather, God explains the work He would do after the conquest. ‘Do not depend on people!’ When starting, progressing and concluding work, it must be only the Gospel. When we depend on the Word of God and challenge, we will have victory in the spiritual battle. We have already won when we believe in the Word.
2. ‘See the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.’
It is important to know who the Lord is in the covenant of God. The priority for people of God is realizing that God is God. Also, when we obey the Word of God, and do things in accordance with the Word, He promised, “I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.” God is on our side. He fights ahead of us, and He is the Lord who saves us. Many spiritual problems, disasters and destruction are giving influence to the areas of culture and education across the entire world. They approach our descendents who will lead the future. However, the people of God will see the works of God (1 Peter 2:9). As people who have been called as the royal priesthood, holy nation and chosen people, God’s method is sharing Christ, who is the light, to this field. We can amply win over the forces of darkness with the authority of having become children of God.
- Am I having victory in the spiritual battle all the time? In your field today, exercise and enjoy the authority of being a child of God. Through the Word and prayer, may you be charged with spiritual strength.
