The mystery of experiencing the living Word of God
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

God answers exactly as He has spoken. As seen through church and Biblical history, only the fulfillment of the Word of God ultimately remains as answers to this day. Furthermore, only the works related to evangelism have remained as answers to this day. Additionally, only the answers to prayer that are aligned with God’s will have remained. How can we experience the living Word of God?
1. Historically important figures
We are important figures living in a vital age in the perspective of God. When Israel was faced with the greatest difficulties, God spoke the following words to them: “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God stands forever,” (Isaiah 40:8). It means that life itself is ephemeral and transient like flowers and grass, but that the Word of God is eternal. The Bible, which is a record of the Word of God, has been recorded not with the thoughts of people, but as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. All the promises in the Bible have been fulfilled, save for the promise regarding the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. The more of an intellectual they consider themselves, people might consider the Word of God to be strange, and there are those even among the ranks of theologians who consider the Word of God to be laughable. In this midst, the world church has fallen into a deep slumber. But even now, the Word of God remains unchanged and fulfilled.
2. Experience of the Word of God
How can we experience the Word of God? Whenever we find ourselves facing problems, we must not attempt to solve it in ways that are familiar to us; instead, we must see what the Word of God tells us. We must confirm the Word of God in all things. We must look at what the Word of God tells us and apply the Word of God in all fields. We must draw all conclusions with the Word of God. When answers come, we must confirm it with the Word of God.
3. When we hold correctly on to the Word of God
When we hold correctly on to the Word of God, God will absolutely fulfill His Word in our lives. Paul proclaimed, “I muse see Rome as well,” (Acts 19:21) after long travels for the purpose of evangelism, scheduled prayer, and deep meditation of the Word. God deemed his words most vital and told him through His angel, “Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you,” (Acts 27:24). When we remain firm in the midst of evangelism, prayer, and the Word, God will ultimately allow us to realize a most important Word.
- What is the Word I am holding on to today? Pray humbly to God to experience the living Word.
