Exodus 34:1~9 Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped. "O Lord, if I have found favor in your eyes," he said, "then let the Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, forgive our wickedness and our sin, and take us as your inheritance." (8~9)

The prayer of Moses in the Scripture above is the kind of prayer we must possess. Dale Carnegie stated that as people live they would face accidents and diseases, but the greatest problem is difficulties. The Israelites’ life in the wilderness was a difficulty in itself, and the problems of people, idols, finances, and families never ceased and only continued. You must hear God’s calling during this time.
1. What you must first hold on to
The Word of God that is recorded in the Bible has seven thousand fulfillments and others yet to be fulfilled. You can survive just by following important information or the words of people; how much more so would works arise if you listened to God’s Word? The Word existed from the time of creation and is the power of the Creator Lord which is the unique solution given to mankind and the forefathers of faith. In the Word, God is pleased with being expressed as “Jehovah.” Even in the field where Moses was first called, even along the path of the wilderness where He gave Moses a new covenant, God desired to be perceived as the Jehovah Lord. He describes that only the Gospel is the way to live. It is an amazing work that the Word of God given to the Israelites during the exodus is the life we have today. Therefore, what we must pass on to our future generation is only the Word and the Gospel.
2. Inside the Word and prayer
There is a work that seems easy but that nobody can do. Only those with spiritual strength, the children of God, can do this work: prayer. People of the world and all religions are doing this, but those who receive answers are only a few in number. Believing the Word and realizing who Christ is are the extraordinary evidences that the children of God possess. Prayer is the method to enjoying the Gospel every single moment of our lives. Listening to the thousands of thoughts the world offers and being hindered by the numerous words spoken by people is a great loss. The absolute blessing that the children of God must enjoy is prayer, rather than the savings and insurances concerning the future. Like this, the Lord brings those with answers to His side. If we are by His side, God takes care of our present and our future. Therefore, rather than listening and relying on people, we must begin anew by holding on to God’s Word and prayer.
- Become a child of God who experiences God inside the Word, and enjoys the blessings of prayer each and every moment of your life. Restore the spiritual strength to continue praying.
