Evangelist Apollos
Acts 18:24~28 When Apollos wanted to go to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. On arriving, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed. For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ. (27~28)

Anyone can pretend as if evangelism is taking place; however, not everyone can raise true disciples and do true evangelism. Many attempt to evangelize, but they are unable to leave their personal standards and problems, which cause them to be in a state of incompetence and hopelessness. How can we triumph over failure and hopelessness?
1. It is only possible with the eyes to see problems as blessings
We possess a body, heart and spirit. If our body is fragile, it is possible to recover through exercise, but our thoughts and hearts do not change as a result of a reformed lifestyle. Only when the correct message is perceived can correct thoughts be gained and healing take place. When the spirit prays deeply before God, healing is inevitable. Once you discard scars and unbelief, your eyes will open to see the problems as blessings. Because the seven Remnants. enjoyed the power of the Word, their eyes to see the problem were different. Paul who was in the midst of problems enjoyed the blessings of joy, tolerance, thanksgiving, and peace inside prayer (Philippians 4:4~7). This is both true prayer and the mystery of healing.
2. Apollos received the Gospel through grace and did great works
Apollos, born in Alexandria, was a faithful servant excellent in rhetoric and vast in knowledge concerning the Bible. However, relying on skill alone does not make you into an evangelist. He encountered Priscilla and Aquila and experienced the working of the Holy Spirit that began from Mark’s upper room. From there, works of power took place, and true fruits were borne.
3. Evangelists must be aware of the method by which God works
Evangelists must absolutely know God’s method. Above all, through prayer they must discover the authority provided by God. When this strength is achieved, the pulpit message is revived, and God’s work becomes visible in all situations and events. At that moment, you will discover today’s Word, prayer, and evangelism, and will begin to enjoy the working of the Holy Spirit.
- Pray to discover today’s Word, prayer, and evangelism through scheduled prayer, as well as the doors of blessings to open allowing you to enjoy God working in your life.
