The lay leader who succeeds in the small things

Those successful in the small things are able to have a good walk of faith. God works the most within the trivial things. For example, listening to the message during worship may seem like a small thing. However, from correctly perceiving the Word, great works are bound to take place. Also, we are unable to reform our thoughts and nature with our own efforts. However, holding on to the true Gospel and the fulfillment of the works of the Holy Spirit are more than sufficient to attain change. Because God’s Word is living and active, our souls and physical body can be healed and fixed without a doubt.
1. God has prepared everything beforehand
God has created everything on earth. He has especially predestined those who would receive salvation. For this reason, He has prepared and created everything. The numerous works and events that arise are dispensations used to fulfill God’s motives. Because of this, God has made an absolute time schedule. We say everything exists inside one thing.God’s sovereignty. If we are inside God’s sovereignty, all worries and conflicts are unnecessary. We must be completely sure that the difficulties and problems we face are part of God’s time schedule.
2. There are many failed individuals that lose hold of the big things because of the little things.
There are worries we face on a daily basis. First, we have worries that derive from interpersonal relationships. If we firmly grab hold of the covenant of the cross, then all problems that stem from people can be turned into blessings. Next are the worries that come from our work. When we are overflowing with God’s grace and blessings then these problems become completely resolved. Third, it is the state of being oppressed. When problems come, we must discover the grace God has given to us in the midst of such difficulties. Fourth is the worry as a result of problems. Also, there are worries concerning money. Although these conflicts arise from minor things, God uses them to bless us tremendously.
3. There are successful individuals who achieve bigger things because of the little things
Joseph was sold as a slave and faced the greatest hardship, yet he received the greatest blessing. Moses did not gain success in the palace; rather it was in the wilderness of Midian. Samuel held on to the faith of the Ark of the Covenant when the Word was lost. That faith was handed down to David. Although Paul had a prestigious background, he considered everything rubbish and devoted himself to the Gospel, which allowed him to enjoy the blessings of saving Rome and the entire world. Because God has prepared everything beforehand, we must discover and enjoy the blessings that exist inside the small, miniscule things.
