Of all the businesspeople introduced in the Bible, Gaius was a businessperson who received the greatest blessing. Elder Gaius was not merely a businessperson, he was a Gospel business missionary who was working for the Gospel. The evangelism movement of the Early Church was an evangelism movement in which pastors, field disciples, businesspeople, specialists, and future generations all took part. This is the answer that we must find today.
1. Five fields that we must never lose hold of
All over the world there are organizations that seem religious but try to gain profit. They have certain characteristics that are as follows. First, it is health business. They seep into the minds of people with expertise concerning health and healing. Second, it is mind business. With energy movement and mind healing they seep into the minds of those who are thirsty. Third, it is spiritual business. Fourth, it is fortunetelling business. Fifth, it is the business that follows the trend of the age. In order to save them, we must take note of the field. It is at this time that we need power. Prayer is finding our physical power and correctly planting the Word of God in the depths of our spirit. Scheduled prayer is an important time through which we can be provided with power. Especially, it is good to utilize early morning and night time. Amazing works will take place if scheduled prayer begins to take place. Inside of this we will come to grab hold of God’s plan for the future.
2. Those who had success in the Old Testament
Noah, who walked with God, was able to continue building the ark with the spiritual power that God granted him. Abraham, who built the altar and prayed before God, was able to have victory with that power. Joseph, whom the Lord was with, was able to overcome all the problems and difficulties with that power. David enjoyed the great spiritual power through the deep prayer in the early morning. Through scheduled prayer, Daniel enjoyed the great power that was more than enough to change the age.
3. The Early Church
The businesspeople that were greatly used for world evangelization had the spiritual power that they had received from God. The physician, Luke, who had the Gospel and shared the Gospel with Theophilus; 15 businesspeople who came from all over the world who understood the working of the Holy Spirit that took place in Mark’s upper room; lay leaders who quietly undertook the evangelism movement in each and every field of their region; and businesspeople such as Lydia, Priscilla and Aquila, and Elder Philemon who was able to reach the people who held high positions were none other than the main figures. In addition, we see from today’s Scripture reading that Elder Gaius enjoyed this blessing the most. This is the blessing that we must enjoy.
-Let us meditate on how we can enjoy the blessing of world evangelization as missionaries who have the Gospel in the field.
