Heal Hastiness
Exodus 32:1~14 │ Then the LORD relented and did not bring on
his people the disaster he had threatened. (14)
Even though the path that the Israelites were on was blocked countless times,
God helped them to be victorious. However, the Israelites once again hindered their own path.
Moses went up Mt. Sinai, but took a long time in coming down. Using that as an excuse,
the Israelites gathered around Aaron and pleaded with him to make them a golden idol in the
shape of a calf which they served. In the background, Satan gives idols, religion, and culture that
seem appealing; however, they are completely incorrect. Even now,
Satan blocks the path for believers through hastiness, quarrels, public opinions,
and the past. How can these issues be resolved?
1. Hold onto God's Covenant
Darkness prevents God's children from staying within His covenant.
However, Moses went before God to ask for forgiveness on behalf of the Israelites
who served the golden idol and sinned. Moses knew that the covenant would never change.
2. The Covenantal Prayer and the Prayer of Repentance
From the moment you grab hold of the covenant, the covenantal prayer begins.
No matter what the circumstances, when you hold onto the covenant and pray,
God completely binds darkness and Satan.
Furthermore, you must restore the prayer of repentance. When you pray to God for repentance,
He will change His will and you’ll see darkness completely kneeling.
You must heal your quarrels with others and your hastiness.
If you hold onto the covenant properly today, God will heal you, the church,
and the world. At this moment, firmly hold onto God's covenant and go into prayer.
