The Flow of the Word That Businesspeople Must See
Exodus 3:18~20│ “And they will listen to your voice, and you and the elders of Israel shall go to the king of Egypt and say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us; and now, please let us go a three
days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.’” (18)
The church officers of the Bible who were businesspeople followed the leaders whom they nurtured and raised. It means that they saw the flow or stream of God’s Word and followed it. Likewise, within the flow of the Word, if you see the flow of the covenant; the reality within the covenant; and the hidden problems within the reality, you will see the absolute flow given by God. Then, who were the leaders whom the church officers nurtured and raised as businesspeople?
1.Moses
Jochebed relayed every covenant to Moses then placed him in the Nile River.Exodus 3:18 Following the words of Moses who held onto the covenant, the leaders, including the elders, crossed the Red Sea. All the church officers and the businesspeople among the Israelites worked together to build the Tabernacle.
2.Joshua and Caleb
Joshua was Moses’ attendant. He was the main figure in the war between Israel and the Amalekites; one of the spies who explored Canaan; the main figure who led the crossing of the Jordan River; and led the Israelites around the wall of Jericho before it collapsed. He was also Moses’ successor. Caleb was
a co-worker with Joshua, but served him just as he had served Moses. Later, Caleb became the main figure who conquered the hill country of Anak.
Although the devotion of the church officers who were businesspeople seemed small, the fruit or the answers that God gave them were outstanding. The church officers who raised leaders were individuals who were ahead of their age. Jochebed who relayed the covenant to Moses knew the entire situation. Jethro who sent Moses to the land of death foresaw
Moses’ future. Moreover, Rahab who helped the spies knew that the Israelites would enter the land of Canaan. In other words, church officers who are businesspeople are the future covenant of Remnants.
