Experience the works of God

Acts 13:4~12 “Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Paul met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus in Paphos, his first mission field. This sorcerer tried to turn the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, from faith. However, through the work of the Holy Spirit, the sorcerer turned blind, and the proconsul came to believe in Jesus. Regardless of how great a crisis we face, the work of God will surely happen if we receive the accurate guidance of the Holy Spirit. We can save the world only through the work of God. If you experience the works of God, what results will you see?

1. You will see the path

If you hold on to the Word of the covenant correctly, pray, and receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will see that God will carry on His good work in us until the day of Christ Jesus, that God has His hope in us and fulfills it, and that God will fill all of our needs. Also, we will see that Christ has fulfilled all that the past kings, prophets, and priests could not fulfill. You will see the blessing that God has prepared everything and that He fulfills His work. If God works, you will see the path of answers.

2. You will see what is unseen

If you see the work of God, you will see what is completely unseen to the eyes. The evangelist Paul saw Satan working in the sorcerer Elymas who was disrupting the entire village and as a result, he bound Satan. You must not only see a person’s outer appearance but also the forces of Satan that work inside each person and field. Likewise, you must bind the forces of Satan working inside wicked leaders in order for war to be brought to an end and for the nation to be saved. You must also have the strength of prayer to bind the forces of darkness that work inside your family.

3. The work of re-creation will arise

God of creation fulfills the work of re-creation through us. When news of the Passover in Egypt, David’s victory over Goliath, the defeat of the Aram army in Dothan, and the news of the proconsul receiving the Gospel were spread throughout the world, people came to see the power of God and the work of the Gospel. Likewise, if God’s works arise, God’s work of re-creation will begin in fields that appear impossible.
