These days the term smart is very popular. Many devices and appliances such as smart TVs and smart phones are being made. What plays the pivotal role in this smart age is the media. However, the media is leading people astray as the perverse values of the culture of darkness are becoming widespread through the media. This culture of darkness is destroying the spirituality and life which are the basics of humankind. What are some ways for us to transcend the culture of darkness and save the world as the ones who have the Gospel?

1. Start of vision training

The more this age becomes addicted to the media, the more we must make time to concentrate on God. During the time of deep prayer, we must gain the power that God provides and find true happiness. If we experience deep prayer, we will be able to perceive the future, transcend all problems and receive the power to turn problems into blessings. Only when we discover the happiness found in God can we see the spiritual confusion that many people are experiencing, as well as the spiritual field of the superpower nations being seized by the culture of darkness. It is then that the vision training of challenging ourselves to the commission and prayer of saving this age begins.

2. Method of vision training

Vision training is the method that Jesus taught us. For 40 days before His ascension, Jesus spoke about the kingdom of God and the vision that would be fulfilled through the whole world. For 10 days after the ascension of Jesus, the disciples experienced vision training by praying earnestly. Through the working of the filling of the Holy Spirit, they received the answer of seeing the things to come in the future. Holding on to the covenant that God has given to us, entering into deep prayer and opening our spiritual eyes to see the world are the methods of vision training that Jesus has taught us.

3. Conclusion of vision training

As this age becomes more and more advanced, great confusion will abound and people will struggle in greater suffering. The conclusion that the Bible speaks about is simple. “The end will come when the Gospel is testified to all people. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations. Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age!” The correct vision trip of saving the world will begin when we confess and pray with faith that everything in our lives is within the hands of God.
