Mystery of communicating
with God
Romans 16:25~27 Now to him who is able to establish you by my
gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the
mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the
prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might
believe and obey him— (25~26)

In the Bible, the people of
Romans 16 were individuals who had mutual communication with God. Gaius,
Phoebe, Priscilla and Aquila held onto the heavenly mandate given by God and
followed the plan of God. The blessings of God came upon their families,
fields, and businesses, and they, in turn, devoted themselves all the more for
the evangelism movement. In order to become individuals used by God, we must
absolutely enjoy the mystery of communicating with God. How can we have mutual
communication with God?
1. The mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed
and made known (Romans 16:25)
The individuals of Romans 16 held
onto the mystery that was hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made
known. God permitted those with the Gospel to be persecuted and even face
hardship. Through suffering, God allowed them to find individuals who had
staked their lives for the Gospel and allowed them to communicate together by
looking only to God. Through the few who knew the mystery of Jesus Christ and
looked to the covenant of the cross, God changed the world.
2. In Christ (Romans 16)
The names of many people are
recorded in Romans 16 and next to their names, it says, “In
Christ.” These individuals played the role of protectors, fellow
workers, and hosts in Christ. In other words, they devoted themselves wholly to
the evangelism movement. These individuals communicated with God 24 hours a day
through prayer and became one through the Gospel alone. They communicated with
each other through evangelism and shared their commission of missions. When
they enjoyed this mystery, they also enjoyed the greatest blessing in
Christ.
3. Grace of our Lord Jesus (Romans
16:20)
The individuals of Romans 16
communicated with God through three powers. As the protectors of the
evangelist, they moved the heart of God and enjoyed the blessing of finances.
Also, they enjoyed the time schedule of God and devoted their energies to
relaying the covenant to the next generation. Lastly, they knew the method to
overcome Satan and brought Satan to his knees by being wise about what is good
and innocent about what is evil.
-God is the Almighty who holds our lives in His hands; He
is the Sovereign Lord who has absolute power. How am I communicating with God?
Enjoy the prayer to communicate with God every single moment of your life.
