The greatest promise in the Bible
Acts 1:1~8 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit tot the apostles he had chosen. (1~2)

Many people think that all religions are the same and that they only need to live doing good works. The Bible, however, speaks differently. The Bible tells us why men suffer and how we can become children of God and receive salvation. In addition, it reveals Jesus Christ, the solution to all problems and the one and only Savior. Moreover, it records the reason why it must be solely through Jesus Christ. The Bible is a record concerning Jesus Christ. What is the greatest promise in the Bible?
1. Evidence of the Word
When we come to know that we need nothing but Jesus Christ, we receive the evidence of the Word. Luke who witnessed this evidence came to the conclusion of life in Jesus Christ. If we realize that Jesus is the Christ, we need nothing else. Joshua witnessed the unique miracle that God performed through Moses and understood that the blood of the lamb and the covenant of Jesus Christ alone are the answer. When we hold onto the evidence of the Word, we will look to Jesus Christ alone.
2. Relaying the Word
Just as the works of the Holy Spirit were revealed to Theophilus who heard the Word of God from Luke, the works of the Holy Spirit take place in the churches, families, schools and workplaces where the Word of God is proclaimed. Luke sent Theophilus epistles regarding the power of God that was manifest through Christ. He relayed the works of healing that took place when people were enjoying the filling of the Holy Spirit. The works of evangelism of the Word being relayed to people around us will take place through the working of the Holy Spirit that arises for the children of God.
3. Signpost
When the Word of God is testified through the power that is given by God, God will enable us to see the signposts. God will grant us the meetings where Christ is testified and enable us to see the opportunity for those who have the Gospel to gather together. Moreover, we will come to see the time schedule of God, receive what is best for us through problems and hardships and enjoy the blessings of opening the door of evangelism in the world. Likewise, when we put our faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him alone, God will lead and bless our futures.
