Experiencing Jesus Christ

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

If you received salvation in the name of Jesus Christ, you already possess everything you need. Because Jesus fulfilled all things,John 19:30 children of God simply need to wait without wavering. Joseph didn’t try mightily to become the governor of Egypt. He simply waited for God’s time schedule as he looked toward the direction in which God pointed. The reason why he was able to remain firm in the face of difficulties was because he experienced Jesus Christ in his life. How can we experience the power of Jesus Christ?

1. Change

Though the problems and hardships you face may loom larger than life, there is no need to worry. Only Jesus Christ is the ultimate answer for your life. If you experience that He is the solution to all things in your life, amazing changes will occur. Even after proclaiming that Jesus was the Christ, Peter still denied Jesus three times. But after experiencing the power of Jesus Christ, he began to boldly preach the Gospel. Consequently, he further witnessed the miracle of the paralytic rising up to walk, and proclaimed that Jesus Christ was the unique Savior even in the face of death.

2. Miracles

When the Israelites were still slaves in Egypt, the 10 plagues occurred through Moses, who had experienced Jesus Christ. It was through these 10 plagues that the idols of Egypt were broken down, and the Israelites were able to flee from Egypt. In the wilderness, God led the Israelites from the brink of starvation. Though others resented God, Moses looked to the power of God until the very end. It was because he had experienced the mystery of Jesus Christ.

3. Word

When we focus on the Word, we will discover God’s vision and plan within it. When we meditate deeply on the Word of God, we will see the direction that we must take. Additionally, when we meditate on the Word, our incorrectly imprinted thoughts and natures will be healed, and the Gospel will be imprinted anew in our hearts. It is at this time that the power of the Lord will be proclaimed, and we can live the blessed lives of those who relay the Word.
