What God has prepared

There are increasing numbers of books that claim to move the heart, worldly culture that brings pleasure, and sights that can fill empty hearts with mirth. In the midst of such things, God’s children are unable to enjoy the mystery of prayer. God gave great answers to Moses, who had previously lived his life away from His covenant, when he realized one thing. What must God’s people do to realize the most important truth?

1. See what God has prepared
The Israelites were on the verge of death. The Pharaoh despised the Israelites, who did not worship him. At that time, God called Moses to give him the commission of leading the Israelites out of Egypt into Canaan. He commanded the Israelites to leave Canaan to give a sacrificial offering to the Lord Jehovah instead of worshiping idols. Before this, Moses had lived 40 years in the palace driven by his own thoughts and desires for success, and had succumbed to a life of wandering in the desert. But the moment he held onto the God- given covenant, he was able to walk the path of answers that God had prepared.

2. See God’s time schedule even in the midst of difficulties
God knew full well that Moses was in dire circumstances. At such a time, God gave to Him Exodus 3:18. When Moses held onto the Word, the doors of heaven opened, and all disasters were of no avail. No matter how hopeless our finances may seem, there is no need to worry. Even in the face of death, when we hold to the words God spoke to Moses, we will come to see His time schedule.

3. Make firm resolution even in the midst of difficulties
There are times when we find ourselves in difficult situations or dilemmas in our work or even as we simply live our lives. At such a time, we must question whether our lives are truly driven only by Jesus Christ. We must connect conflicts to prayer and examine whether the ultimate purpose of our lives is Gospel-centered. When faced with problems that seem to have no solutions, we must begin to ask the plan God may have for us. When we simply make a resolution of prayer and ask questions before God, we can experience the greatest answers.
