The imprint that changes lives
Acts 1:8 But you’ll receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

God promised to give evidence and authority when the Holy Spirit comes upon to His children. Not only does God desire to bless us individually, He desires to bless our work, our families, and the church we attend. He also wants to raise disciples in every remote corner of the world not yet reached by the Gospel. For this work, He will fill our finances so we are not in need of anything, and guide us to rise to the top in our chosen fields. What must we do to experience this blessing and become a witness?
1. Discard what has been imprinted in your heart
Everyone has many things deeply instilled in their hearts as they live. Scars, pessimistic thoughts, worldly standards, and countless incorrect things hinder discovering God’s plan. When things are incorrectly imprinted in our hearts, our thoughts and actions also become skewed. What must we do then? We must erase the deeply engraved scars and unbelief, and imprint the Word of God in our hearts. When we pray seeking the filling of the Holy Spirit, God leads us and oversees all our circumstances and problems.
2. Save lives with the imprinted Word
When God’s Word is imprinted in us, our weaknesses turn into guide signs to follow God’s plan as well as platforms upon which to receive God’s strength. The members of the Early Church who joined together to pray were not much from the worldly perspective, but their dire realities were channels through which God worked. No matter what kind of problems may come, those who are imprinted with God’s Word will become committed workers of world evangelization and will raise disciples to relay the Gospel.
3. Change lives with the imprinted Word
When God’s Word is imprinted in our hearts, our lives change. Helen Keller’s teacher, Anne Sullivan had suffered from various ailments but got healed through God’s Word and resolved to teach disabled students. What is imprinted in our hearts can change our lives. If the Gospel and the Word is deeply embedded in the hearts of His children, they will challenge themselves before God each day. If we enjoy the blessing of 24-hour prayer without being deceived by other things, we will enjoy the blessing of an evangelist who saves the world.
