Most people consider themselves to be the master of their own life. However, as they proceed to live their life, they come to realize that so many things happen contrary to their will. True life begins when God becomes the master of your life. The master is someone who takes a full responsibility. In the world, there are many standards of success. But a true success is aptly doing the work that God, the master wants in the place and time He requires. Following the path that God guides is the most stable and certain way to succeed.

1. Even suffering is a plan of God
If we realize God’s plan, we will be able to overcome all sufferings. David continuously suffered from King Saul’s threat although David had no fault of his own. However, David knew God’s plan and did not swept away by King Saul’s persecution. Rather, he did not take King Saul’s life, though given the chance, which moved the heart of King Saul.1 Samuel 26:21 Seek the answers by seeing the plan of God and equipping the vessel to enjoy leisure even in the midst of problems.

2. Suffering is a greatest blessing
The moments of threat from King Saul were the greatest blessing for David because those were the time for him to discover God’s plan. God led him to green pastures and clear waters and to paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Though he walked through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord’s rod and staff comforted him. In the end, God prepared a table before David in the presence of his enemies. We just need to have assurance that God is our Lord and enjoy the mystery that He is with us.

3. There is a reason for suffering
There is a reason why we receive answers through suffering. Many people live with fears. However, through trials and suffering the children of God realize that they are most safe within God. This is why David confessed that the Lord is his refuge and his rock when he was facing a crisis. God gives answers through the small dedication and prayer that we give in midst sufferings.
