The blessed are different
Psalm 1:1~6 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. (1~2)

The name David means ‘Beloved.’ David did not shake even in the face of the threat of death as a result of King Saul’s hatred. Rather, he prayed for and comforted the person who was threatening him. There is something that we must learn from David’s life. What are the things we must learn?
1. David did not fear the world
King Saul, who lived his entire life centered on himself, suffered because of evil spirits. However, David took pity on King Saul rather than fearing him. In the face of death or problems, David also did not fear but relied on the power of God. Even when David defeated Goliath, he did not grow arrogant. God gave the strength to overcome the attacks from the world to David, who was armed in prayer and fearlessly fought with the Word of God against the world. During his reign, God granted great blessings so neighboring nations could not attack.
2. David did not fear people
Those who served King Saul placed David in dire circumstances and even mobilized the army in order to take his life. However, David did not fear their slander or attack; He guarded his faith before God because he knew that God was with him and protected him. That is how David was able to overcome any circumstance and the attacks of the majority.
3. David did not fear hardships
Those who know the covenant of God can overcome all hardships. David equipped himself with the skill to throw stones when David was alone. And he wrote psalms and praises when his heart was filled with anguish. Because these times continued, David gained the strength of prayer and did not fear hardships. Meditate on God’s Word like David when you feel all alone in the world or face a difficulty and a crisis, or get misunderstood. Then, the forces of darkness will depart.
