One opportunity
John 21:15~18 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep" (17)

Many people do not consider ‘today’ to be important. They count it as a part among many days and think it is okay to not give their best for that day. However, ‘today’ is a special day for God’s children. Every day is an opportunity to receive the blessings prepared by God. When we imprint the word in our hearts through meditation, we realize the absolute worth of the Gospel and our spiritual problems get healed. What must we do to spend today the most worthwhile?
1. We must relay the correct blessings
What God considers to be the most important is the future generations with the Gospel. Through them, the Gospel will be spread into the world. Even if we do not do any special work, a day of a child of God is already victorious life that is the life of an evangelist. When we spend ‘today’ in the midst of the Word, we may enjoy the blessings God has given us today and testify Christ. We can relay these blessings of children of God to the future generations. And this is true blessing and happiness.
2. We must relay the correct conclusion
In the Bible, we see the Israelites suffer because they lost hold of the covenant. A country that does not know the Gospel has no choice but to perish. We must relay this fact to our future generations of the Gospel for them not to lose hold of the covenant. Also we must accurately relay the importance of the covenant to them as we think of God’s plan for the world evangelization. Just like Jesus told Peter, “Feed my lambs,”John 21:15~18 we must work to testify the Gospel to our future generations.
3. We must teach about the correct opportunities
Although problems, difficulties and incidents loom large at the moment, for God’s children all these things are opportunities to experience God’s power and enjoy His answers. We must tell our future generations about this fact so they would not be discouraged before a hardship and find answers from God’s word. We have one life to live, so when we make a resolution before Him like Daniel and his three friends did, God will answer. Since we know the worth of the Gospel, we must relay this one opportunity that is worth staking our lives on.
