When the kingdom of God is actualized
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” ♬ Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #251 Marvelous Grace of our Loving Lord (#137 in previous version) Those who enjoy other things besides the Gospel may say that things are working out for them as of right now, but they will soon taste bad results and consequences. However, there are many times when we are concerned with the issues of the world and the Word of God seems of no interest to us. The profits in one’s life are reaped according to the enjoyment of the Gospel and prayer must begin in order for us to actualize the kingdom of God. When the Gospel is applied to my life and my field, what kind of answers will I receive?
1. You will see three answers
Before receiving the grace of God, Moses had nothing to show for. After receiving God’s grace, however, he became the leader of the Israelistes who were standing before destruction, and led them with the boldness and the wisdom God bestowed upon him. Also, he saw the forces of darkness at work among the Babylonians, Syrians, Assyrians, and Philistines who did not believe in the power of God. Samuel was aware of Satan’s strategy to use the culture of the world, and thus entered inside prayer for the future generation. Then you will come to know the reason to save the deteriorating world, the culture bound by Satan, and the desolate hearts of mankind.
2. The number of people who must receive salvation will increase
When Jesus was crucified on the cross, many of His followers fled. Despite receiving so much grace, they only considered their safety in the face of problems and failed in their lives. If you don’t have the assurance of the Gospel, no matter how great you may be, your life will soon crumble due to selfishness and personal motives. When the people who possess the power of God gather together in prayer seeking the plan of God, the field can be revived. As you begin to share the Gospel to individuals within your family, school, church, and friends, you will be able to pray together with them, and you will have other people to evangelize to.
3. The doors of evangelism will open
God desires of us to save His people, and save those who are in the midst of destruction. The moment you hold onto the covenant, God’s kingdom will be brought to realization and the culture will be restored. This is not for the sake of myself; because it is God’s greatest desire, you must possess His power to actualize these answers. When you enjoy the mystery of prayer and the blessing of worship within your life as you align your direction with the Lord’s, God kingdom will be actualized and door of evangelism will inevitably open.
