Realization of the Gospel toward me
Isaiah 40:27~31 But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (31) The 7 Remnants° in the Bible have distinct characteristics that other people do not possess. Joseph had a vision that God showed through his dreams, while David had the ability to praise while meditating on the Word. Presently, the world is growing more wicked as our lives become increasingly difficult. At this time, as children of God, we have to realize our vision and covenant in the Gospel through prayer. How can we enjoy our blessings through prayer?
1. Prayer of enjoying the Gospel
The forces of darkness are powerless before Jesus Christ. This very same Jesus Christ abides with me, and the way to enjoy Him is through prayer. When we meditate deeply on what the Gospel is, and who Jesus Christ is, the forces of darkness where we are will be bound. Though our circumstances may seem larger-than-life, they will no longer pose a problem when we think deeply about the Gospel. Joseph, Moses, and Samuel all meditated on the Gospel of salvation to transcend their problems.
2. Comforting and happy prayer
We must be happy and comfortable in our lives every day, and enjoy prayer realistically. At this time, we will taste true prayer and discover the mystery of prayer. Joseph enjoyed the power of prayer even in prison and was always at peace, while Moses was able to overcome his own lackings through the power of God. When David meditated through praise, the forces of darkness fled, and when Elisha prayed, the chariots of fire were mobilized. Likewise, when we enjoy the mystery of prayer, we will enjoy true peace regardless of our environment.
3. Prayer that changes the world
God gives the power to transform the world to people who love the Word in their everyday lives. Joseph, who was loyal to the Spirit of the Lord, correctly interpreted the Pharaoh’s dream to rise to the highest position. Moses prayed in his everyday life, seeking God’s plan. So when enemies attacked, he was able to see exactly what God intended to do. Regardless of our own abilities, God changes the world through people who look to Him in prayer.
