Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment ♬ Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #623 In His Time When someone has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and has a limited prognosis, we say that they are living on borrowed time. However, for people, there is always a beginning and death in life. The life we have been given is a one-time opportunity. That is why it is the most precious and valuable. There is just one way to live a classy life- Jesus Christ. Then how must we enjoy this life? And what must we relay to our children?
1. We need to know the opportunity to begin life First, we need to strive to create a family that is centered on the Gospel. Whether it is on our own, or with a spouse, we need to enjoy the blessing of salvation first, and instead of giving each other scars, begin to do forum in which both parties give strength to the other through the Word. It is at this time that the children in the family will be spiritually soothed, and communication will take place between the parents and children. We must also see our workplace with spiritual eyes, and begin to become Gospel-centered in our lives as well. When we enjoy the blessings God has given us in church, we will enjoy the Word of God every week. This is the beginning of saving not only ourselves, but our entire posterity.
2. We must seize the opportunity to be an evangelist Evangelism does not take place through brute force or effort. When we first enjoy the Gospel in our lives, we will discover all the solutions to our lives. When we communicate with God through 24-hour prayer, we will enjoy the happiness and strength that comes through Christ. It is at this time that we will discover the time schedule for evangelism, and become an evangelist capable of exerting influence over others without even being aware of it. Evangelism is not simply for others; before anything else, it is for ourselves.
3. We must seize the opportunity for our posterity. When our lives are enriched with the Gospel, we can then relay the covenant to our children. In a world that is becoming increasingly depraved, we must aid our posterity to receive spiritual strength through the covenant. Samuel made the covenant known to his posterity through the Mizpah movement, and Elisha raised the Remnant° movement in his own time. God adds His greatest blessings on those who have the posterity in their hearts. We must embrace relaying the Gospel to our posterity as a life-long commission. Forum Topic God has given us one life as a precious gift. Meditate on the three opportunities in your life that God will fulfill, and think about what you need to put into action today in your life.
