We must learn to pray first
Matthew 6:6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. However, if you ask someone to spend a short time in concentrated prayer to speak with God, in reality it is hard to know where to begin. Prayer can become difficult to the point where you speak about the things you want and become more worldly or you pray as formally as if you were praying at church. Why do you need to pray? And how do you begin to pray?
1. What you must first discover
Through Matthew, Jesus tells us not to act in front of people, but to do everything before God. Prayer is not something to be displayed in front of people. Prayer is an important communication between God and you. When you entrust your entire life to God, He gives you true rest. In the same way that a seed falls on fertile soil and produces abundant fruit, you will discover that God produces great miracles out of minor events.
2. Simply enjoy deep prayer
For 40 years, Jesus focused and prayed and told His disciples of the works of God’s kingdom. The disciples were baptized by the Holy Spirit. When they held onto the Word and prayed deeply, they gained the strength to win over the world. In the same way that the people of Mark’s upper room experienced the Holy Spirit when they threw away their worries and unbelief and prayed, when we pray deeply to God, all of our problems will be solved. God will work out His time schedule for those who pray and He will find His scattered disciples and use them.
3. Realistically enjoy prayer
Even if you receive grace and power, when you go to school or work, your complications and weaknesses are more visible. That is why it is important to constantly be in prayer. The first thing you must do is find those worries and turn them into prayer. As you meditate on Christ and personally change, as you enjoy the power of being a child of God, you receive spiritual power. As you gain strength through prayer, you begin to pray naturally for your field. Through prayer, you, your field, and the people in your surroundings will be blessed.
