1. Find God’s best plan in the worst condition
Although financial and interpersonal problems continued to come, he did not know why they came. His father and older brother died and events continued to happen, but he could not firmly hold onto God’s Word. We fall into worries with the things that God will bless the most. Abraham liked the physical things, and as a result, he realized God’s blessings very late. After realizing God’s blessings, the physical problems he was worrying about turned into blessings.
2. Enjoy the mystery of being together before a problem or crisis
There are people who move according to their material gain or people who seek others only at times of crises. If you only follow your gain, you will eventually fail. Abraham’s nephew Lot chose the good land and left for Sodom in order to live a good life, but war broke and he became a captive. Abraham who chose God’s covenant received the blessing of having 318 trained men in his household. The reason Abraham received blessings was that he did not lose hold of being within God’s plan rather than following his personal gains before a problem.
3. If you prepare to save the future, the forces of darkness will fear you
The forces of darkness fear those who prepare for the future in the Gospel and capture those who worry about the future and lead them to failure. Abraham had difficulties by going to Egypt when he met a famine, worried about food, clothing, and shelter, and left the promised land of Canaan. If you continue to have unbelief, small problems grow big, and you eventually face repeated failure. Abraham made important resolutions before many problems and began to build an altar to God. From then on, he came to realize God’s plan to save the future.
