Attempting to help others without any power is unreasonable. If you have been freed from spiritual problems and suffering by meeting God, there is no longer any reason to live powerlessly. God gives power to those who are weary and strength to those who are incapable.Isaiah 40:31 God who worked through the Holy Spirit like wind and fire among the members of the Early Church who patiently awaited the filling of the Holy Spirit in prayer is still alive today. What we need is God’s power and strength. How can we receive this power and strength?
1. Count your blessings
Jesus became the true prophet by making a way to meet God, the true priest by washing away all sins and curses, and the true king by destroying the works of Satan. If you believe that Jesus is the Christ and have received salvation, you have become a child of God. As a child of God, you can pray to receive the indwelling, guidance, and working of the Holy Spirit to break down the forces of darkness as angels fulfill God’s will. We have received the citizenship of heaven that is eternal and stand among the ranks of those who share the Gospel for world evangelization. When we meditate upon these blessings and pray, spiritual power is restored.
2. Focus on the days that God works
The life that you live daily of walking with God is important, but it is also important to focus and pray to God in special circumstances. God does not take into account our actions or our experiences, but our faith. When you believe, God’s works will take place. We must value Sunday worship as much as we value our lives. God shows you the path you must take and the things that you must do through Sunday messages. Also, every other day, you should remember the Word of God and engrave it upon your heart. Find the right time and place for you to carry out your own personal method of prayer.
3. Confirm what you have already been given
You do not need to be bound by sins, scars, and habits that you had before meeting God. This is because all problems of the past have been solved in the name of Jesus Christ. The future of God’s children lies in the hands of God, and hence, there is no need to fear or worry. Today connects the past and the future and it is imperative. You can discover God’s plan wherever you are right now, whatever you are doing, and through whomever you meet. This is the best way to enjoy true power and victory today.
