How can we block the problems of the age?
Genesis 11:1~9 That is why it was called Babel—because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth. (9) ♬ Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #242 We Shall See the Desert as the Rose (#233 in previous version) If suffering continues, your life becomes filled with anxiety and you don’t have the strength to change your life. This kind of life brings about lamenting thoughts such as, ‘Why can’t I do anything? Nothing seems to be working out for me.’ There are numerous individuals in this world who have hardships; however, rarely do these difficulties become resolved. This is the result of a believer who is unable to enjoy the blessings bestowed by God. In addition to being incapable of enjoying God’s blessings, believers live in the midst of the people of the world who continue to build the Tower of Babel, striving to conquer the world. Just as the Tower of Babel crumbled, the people of the world who do not know God become overwhelmed and destroyed by spiritual problems. How can we prevent another incident like the Tower of Babel and save the people who are in it?
1. You must have mutual communication of the soul
In order to save the lives of others and the world, you must have the time to communicate with God. However, the forces of darkness utilize any method to interfere with this communication from taking place. It hinders us from meditating upon the Word of God, and induces us to fall into the world, which then leads us to change in a wicked way. God’s Word must take root inside the souls of the children of God who genuinely enjoy the blessings of the Lord in order for them to defeat the forces of darkness.
2. You must have communication in your life
God has given mankind a tremendous blessing, but people are unable to correctly enjoy it. Man’s greed is far from God’s plan; thus, people begin to perceive it as unimportant. Unique blessings do not exist in the world. Only within the Word of God are there unique blessings that can change your life if only you would enjoy them. We must discover unique blessings within the Gospel in order to gain strength, and only when we gain strength can we save the culture of the world and overcome the forces of darkness.
3. You must have communication with your future
The moment children of God lose hold of the covenant that gives them access to communication with the future, the problems of the world and the people of the world go unaddressed. The children of God have received many blessings, yet they are unable to prepare for the future and fail in their present. We must place God’s hope and desire in the center of our lives for the doors of the future to open so we can prepare for it. When you simply hold on to the covenant that can save the world, your thoughts begin to change and if you remember the covenant, the forces of darkness will crumble.
