24-hour prayer
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. When we watch an inspirational movie, we gain strength in our hearts and are even comforted. However, this kind of inspiration is only momentary. If we try to find a quick fix to the immediate problems that we are faced with using the knowledge and standards of this world, we may not be able to find the direction that God desires. What must we do in order to have victory over the confusions and deceptions filled in the world in order to receive God’s 24-hour blessings?
1. Christ must become my start and my end 24 hours a day
Because of the nature that we have acquired, the thoughts that we have, or perhaps because of the motives that we are filled with, Christ cannot become our start and our end. We don’t even have time to meditate on the Word of God because we are too busy trying to compete against a multitude of people. Because we do not know the Word of God, we make decisions based on our own thoughts, and as a result, failure ensues. Noah who saw the time schedule of destruction, and Abraham who faced hardship as a result of his humanism cast aside their own thoughts and enjoyed the life of being with God 24 hours a day.
2. We must be alert and enjoy prayer 24 hours a day in the field
24-hour prayer does not mean that you shouldn’t do anything else but pray. It means that we should not lose hold of the Word of God and instead, receive God’s guidance. It also means that we should not forget that we are God’s children, as well as the reason for our existence 24 hours a day. As we think about the pulpit message, we must connect our thoughts to prayer so that we can enjoy God’s plan through every meeting and enjoy God’s blessings wherever we go. Wherever we go, whomever we meet with, whatever happens, and no matter what kind of situation we are faced with, we will have victory if we are able to ask God His will and enjoy prayer.
3. We must know the blessings of the Word that God gives 24 hours a day
Without the mystery of prayer, we cannot enjoy the blessings that God has prepared. 24-hour blessings is something that has been given to the children of God. As a result, from the moment that we know Jesus Christ, we can enjoy that blessing in our lives. When the children of God find the rhythm of prayer, they will come to realize that the Word of God is living and active. When we receive the Word of God, it is not temporary strength that we gain. The Word not only contains true life in order to save those who are dying because they do not know the Gospel; it also contains limitless strength that will bring restoration to all aspects of our lives.
