The greatest day in Christ
Genesis 3:1~15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel. (15) ♬ Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #80 There is no Name so Sweet (#101 in previous version) If we don’t have the power to defeat the world, we will grow fearful, and fear will make our lives all the more difficult. When we have anger because of others, or when things don’t happen as we desire, we try to find solutions in the world, but there is no solution. God plans all things, and is moving the world according to His plan. When our lives are maintained by the blessings of God who gave me salvation, each day can be the greatest day within Jesus Christ. What must we do in order to maintain this blessing within Jesus Christ?
1. Know the origin of problems and its solution
God created mankind as spiritual beings in flesh. All problems occurring between mankind and the world stemmed from man- a spiritual being- leaving God. Apart from God, no matter how much effort we put in, mankind can never meet God, and will be deceived by Satan who is not visible to the eye. We do not even have the power to rid ourselves of sin. To solve this fundamental problem for mankind, God sent Jesus Christ. The moment Jesus became the Christ, all problems were solved. We need to know the beginning of the problem and solution accurately.
2. Apply the authority of Jesus Christ in our lives
He said, “The offspring of the woman will crush the serpent’s head.” This means that only God’s power and method is capable of crushing the serpent’s head and the forces of darkness. If we do not apply the authority of Jesus Christ in our lives, we will be captives, much as the Israelites became captives to Babylon and slaves under Egypt. To apply the authority of the name of Jesus, we need to meditate on the Word of God and begin to pray for the power of God to manifest in our lives, academics and businesses instead of resorting to worries and anxieties.
3. Save the family line, world, and posterity
The blessing of being a child of God is not man-made. In fact, it is given by God. Being called by God as His child is receiving the blessing of God personally being with us, and for Him to give us the authority of expelling demons. We need to receive this strength and save our family line and posterity. We need to destroy the forces of darkness that prevent us from relaying this blessing in the name of Jesus Christ and make this God-given blessing our very own. When such God-given authority is applied in our lives, God’s authority will manifest in our lives.
