The single most important goal in the lives of God’s children is to receive the answer of being with God. The reason that the 7 Remnants were able to receive answers in the first place is because they waited for God’s promise to be fulfilled instead of being discouraged at the seeming lack of answers. How must we discover the mystery of prayer answers?
1. When we focus on prayer while knowing its full powers, our thoughts will change
The reason Joseph received prayer answers was because He knew the covenantal mystery of God being with him. In his dire hour of missing his mother, Joseph received the great grace of having God-given dreams. Even as a slave, he maintained prayer in everything he thought and saw. Because of Joseph’s prayer in which he enjoyed being together with God, all of Potiphar’s household received blessings. When we meditate on the Word of God and pray, our thoughts will change into God-given thoughts, and we will have the power to overcome all circumstances.
2. We must receive the answer of uniquenes
s Along with Joseph, all the 7 Remnants° in the Bible had the answer of uniqueness, and received answers accordingly. No matter how powerful the nation, these Remnants knew why it could not escape disaster and difficulties. And because they knew the mystery of God’s strength which is capable of destroying the forces of darkness, they received the answer of saving the world. The answer of uniqueness capable of saving both the world and the church is possible only within the Gospel.
3. We must receive the answer that no one can take away
Because we as man all possess flesh, we have no choice but to take care of and love our flesh. But because man is a spiritual being, unless we receive God-given power, we can never be happy. If we fail to realize this spiritual truth, we will be deceived and suffer under the forces of darkness. The only way to overcome the forces of darkness, to save our own lives, and to conquer the culture is through prayer as we enjoy the power of being with God.
