In order to follow God’s plan
2 Timothy 2:1~7 Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. Products are made due to necessity, and people buy products for a specific reason. This world and children of God were also created according to God’s plan. Also, God has given each person a commission with a reason in order to save the dying world. In order for children of God not to run Satan’s errands, they must live with the strength from God. What kind of strength must we have in order to follow God’s plan?
1. What kind of experience do we need?
People endlessly make new things, and try with their effort in order to live in their own way. However, people who have been created by God do not know the value of their own selves and are careless about spending time with God. Because we have received God’s blessings, we must maintain these blessings. Without experiencing prayer of communicating with God, we cannot relay the blessings we have received to the entire world and to others.
2. What kind of attitude do we need?
People who receive God’s blessings are like the soldier, athlete, and farmer. We must become spiritual soldiers to break the forces of darkness, the Lord’s spiritual athletes to live according to His law, and spiritual farmers to save the world and bear fruit for the Lord. In order to receive God’s power and become spiritual soldiers, athletes, and farmers, we need the attitude of discarding the worries we have around us. Even though we are weak and have accomplished little, it is all right because God promises to do His work.
3. What kind of vessel should we become?
As we live, there are many times we feel like falling in a heap as if the world has come to an end. Do not be swayed by the suffering and hardship you see with your eyes, and discard useless thoughts in your life. You simply need to seek the grace of Christ each day. We are not alone. Within Christ, there is life and all answers. We must make our foundation the covenant of Christ, and make firm basics, basis, and groundwork as we listen to the Word. If we hold onto the covenant and form the basics of our lives, our life will be made complete in Christ’s name.
