Preparation for the future
Acts1:1~14 Afterhissuffering,hepresentedhimselftothemandgavemanyconvincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. These people usually consist of those who were inflicted with many scars in their adolescence, and grew up lacking any preparation for the future. These problems are also a curse that surfaces in the later period of people’s lives. To solve this disaster, we must enter into the Gospel and prepare for the future with the Holy Spirit. How must you prepare for the future?
1. There is something you must prepare for the future
As science and knowledge progressively advance, our lives have become very stable, but the number of lazy people is growing. People are tempted by the desire for great things and the thinking that they can achieve great feats and wealth with just one try continues to spread. The forces of darkness cause loneliness in everything we do and inflict chaos upon the world and mankind. To save those who have lost their focus, the children of God must not only perceive the past but the present and future as being precious. Living without any purpose is a strategy the forces of darkness use to destroy mankind. Whatever problem we faced, the children of God must maintain the posture of preparing for the future without being shaken.
2. Know what world missions is
Though the world is developing at a rapid pace, it is falling into spiritual problems it is oblivious of. The constantly changing hearts of people are shaken by the cultures of the world. In order to solve this problem, mankind has repeatedly gone in search of various solutions. In such a critical time, churches engage in volunteer and relief ministries that lack the Gospel. The only thing the scarred world and mankind needs is the work of miracles that God does. We must realize that God’s desire is for us to enjoy the answer of Christ and enter inside world missions in order to save souls.
3. Know the answers within problems
We enjoy and learn from fashion, culture, music, and many other things we deem important; however, they are not necessarily positive influences. The culture of the world cannot ease the conflicts of man; rather, it instigates it. To get rid of these problems and follow the Word of God, we must be victorious in the field in the name of Jesus Christ. When the children of God pray for the kingdom of God to be established wherever they are, they will receive the strength that nothing can block.
