Content that will enable victory
Ephesians 6:10~20 Finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 1. Fight of victory
We can’t live a life that is happy all the time. At the same time, life isn’t always difficult. There are times where our decisions may be wrong, and sometimes when we must tread certain paths that may not be to our liking. However, God sent Jesus Christ to this earth to save His people, and saved children of God from death and destruction. When we believe this truth and pray, God will enable us to have victory. 2. Content for victory Forces of darkness are not afraid of the world. However, they fear the power and Word of God. Forces of dar
kness may be capable of deceiving children of God, but they cannot take them away from God’s embrace. We need to know this truth acutely as we fight the forces of darkness. Satan attacks when children of God waver without assurance, and hinders them from following the Word of God. In order to abandon our fears and have victory in spiritual battle, we need to start the prayer that uses the authority of Jesus Christ.
3. There is a way to be armed for victory
Wearing the helmet of salvation and thus having assurance as a child of God is one defense that will aid us in spiritual battle. Furthermore, we must also wear the breastplate of righteousness and enjoy thanksgiving regarding our salvation. We must wear the belt of truth to prepare for spiritual battle. We can overcome Satan with our shields of faith. For this purpose, we need to raise evangelism plans with the God-given Gospel, and pray continuously as we meditate on the Word to defeat the forces of Satan.
