A time to restore your relationship with God
Romans 16:25~27 But now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all nations might believe and obey him. (26) Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #458 Tho’ Your Heart May be Heavy (#513 in previous version) What we must restore right now is the content of the Gospel that the Early Church members held onto. This is the Word of God for the world that is wasting away. We must gain strength in order for our lives to be used in a valuable way before God. However, many of us lose hold of these blessings. In order to restore our relationship with God and have the healing of our problems, what must we do first?
1. We must challenge 24 hours a day and change our direction to the path that God desires
Those who are with God receive the blessing of saving people and saving the field. However, most people remain within useless thoughts and conflicts. Though we do not have enough time to even enjoy the blessings of God, we get shaken by the words of others and undulate because we don’t know the reason for the things that are happening. The reason and purpose of our lives is to fulfill the will of God. Before you fail as a result of a lack of assurance, you must discover the direction that God desires 24 hours a day, and move towards that path.
2. We must consider the things of this world rubbish and rediscover the faith of the evangelist
There is only one name that brings all creation under control and it is the name of Jesus Christ. By the authority of that name, the children of God can prevail over all situations. If we enjoy the Gospel in our lives, the things of this world will appear as rubbish, and we will no longer be swayed by countless hidden motives, boasting, popularity, and prestige. If we hold onto the things of the world that we should consider as rubbish, everything will approach us as suffering. If we rediscover the faith of the evangelist so that Jesus Christ can rule over our lives, we will be able to stand correctly before God.
3. We must pray for the healing of the scars that eat away at our lives
The scars that Cain had led to him killing his younger brother. Moses also had scars in his heart, which led him to commit murder and then flee from the palace. King Saul who boasted of a good background and great knowledge and even King Ahab who had an exceptional background acted maliciously because of their scars. Scars may appear like nothing at all, but it can rule over our lives. Then, what kind of prayer must we pray regarding these scars? We must ask God what kind of answers we must receive through these scars.
