Method to restoring the grace of God
Zechariah 4:1~10 Then the word of the Lord came to me: “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.” (8~9) Hymn for scheduled worship: Korean/English Hymnal #292 I Could Not Do Without Thee (#415 in previous version) Going to church is not for the purpose of solving physical problems. It is not a place to go when someone has lost all hope in life and has nowhere else to turn. We go to church in order to become a child of God, to receive the grace of God and restore the original blessings of God given to mankind. It is not us who have chosen God; God has chosen us and has called us with a special plan. What is the way for us to restore the grace of God in our daily lives?
1. If you enjoy the Gospel in your life, you will be victorious in all aspects of life
The core of the Gospel is Jesus Christ who has broken down the authority of Satan and has saved us from sin, curses, and the background of hell. When you work or study, it is not easy to completely trust in God. The forces of darkness use all kinds of methods to make you grow distant from God. Although the world cannot help you, the Holy Spirit reigns over your life and you will be victorious if you rely on Jesus Christ who is our hope.
2. All problems are solved when you believe in the Word of God
Problems such as a shock received at a young age or childhood scars from people are solved when you believe and follow the Word of God. If you remember the pulpit message that you heard during worship and tell God of whatever you see and whatever comes to mind, then God sends the armies of angels and grants you the enjoyment of the blessing of answered prayers. Because He knows we cannot be victorious by our own strength, God tells us to believe in His Word and follow Him.
3. He has given us His promise in the name of the Lord Almighty
As we live in the midst of worldly culture, it is not easy to fight off from temptation. The harder it is to do so, you must turn your eyes not toward the world but toward God and entrust your life not to yourself but to God. The Israelites continually faced hardship because they lived according to their own thinking. It is when you try to do things with your strength that you are deceived by the forces of darkness, so you must begin the prayer of believing in the promise of God the Lord Almighty. The fact that you are a child of God does not change even if you get discouraged and fall every day and have many problems.
