The mystery of prayer that I must enjoy
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. However, you can truly enjoy continuous joy and true peace only when you pray in the Gospel and in the Holy Spirit. The Early Church members enjoyed the mystery of prayer and the greatest answers in the midst of hardship and persecution. What is the mystery of prayer we must enjoy in our daily lives?
1. Prayer to enjoy the Gospel and our lifestyle
Though we may get envious of worldly pleasures and want to enjoy them; seek after and desire to rely on things other than Jesus Christ; get languid because things don''t go the way that we planned; and fail to put everything down before God and receive the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we do not have to worry because we are the children of God. God reigns over all of my life. This means that all of my life is within God''s sovereignty. As you pray for the Holy Spirit inside you to take control over your life, begin the prayer of deeply enjoying your identity as a child of God that has been given to you in the Gospel.
2. Prayer for finances
In order for the correct missions movement to begin, we must begin the prayer for finances, as well. The Early Church members whose lives only became more difficult as time passed had no choice but to pray for the Gospel. They staked their lives for evangelism and missions and concentrated solely on prayer. God is also sovereign over finances. If you match your life plan to God''s will and have a sure plan for evangelism and missions, God will grant you the blessing of meeting and open doors for finances, as well.
3. Prayer to save the future
What are the prayer topics you have set for this year? What are you praying for now? You must gain strength in the Gospel and save the future in order to prevent crises and problems that will come to you. You must begin the prayer to save the future in order to overcome the hardships that will come and refrain from falling in life. Your life will not shake if you restore the blessings from God; instead, you will gain the strength that God gives.
